Happy Thanksgiving!

I wish I can have an archive of my family photos.

I am really excited to have my first Thanksgiving with my husband's family especially since I only met a fraction of my new family. Todd is currently slaving in the kitchen, trying to manoeuvre a giant turducken, which we will be taking to our family gathering :) I know that the food plays an important part in all thanksgiving festivities but we can't forget to be thankful for all the joyous things we have in our lives including the turducken :).

I would like to take a moment and thank my parents, my little sis, my husband, my son, my family here, my family overseas (I miss them so much), my friends for being in my life. I am sure this list can go on and on and on but to summarize - my family is a main part in my life that has shaped me the way I am.

PS I am also thankful for my computer, I am sure Todd can agree with me :)

Upcoming Birthday

Good morning Lovelies!

Things on this end are constantly happening - anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, project deadlines. I got to say that I am doing pretty good at trying to stay on top of them. One being Daniil's birthday which is less than 20 days away :) I can't wrap around my brain yet that he will be 4, where did the time go?

As I am gathering ideas of how to celebrate his whopping 4, I started thinking about what he really enjoys doing. Well the answer is he loves to build forts so many things around the house become handy for the construction of his fort. I got to admit that I love forts myself and I still remember how back in the day I used our kitchen/dinning room table as the base for my fort. Who does not love forts?

So I was thinking of turning his room into a giant fort for his birthday :) Below is my inspiration.
