Vacation Time

In a few hours I will be able to see, smell, and touch the ocean. I can't wait to spend some quality time with my family, and the best part of this vacation is my beloved computer will stay home.

Hello Lovelies,

I am so glad to be home after a great and adventurous vacation!

We spent a few days with Todd's family. Going to the beach, swimming at the pool, eating great food, going for beach walks/runs. I especially got some great bonding time with my mother-in-law, sister-in-law {my best hot potato partner}& her precious son Hill. And I certainly got darker without getting burned.

Adventure came the third day we were there. It started with a thunder and some rain and all of the sudden the power was out.  After some thinking we all decided to leave Tybee Island until the next day. While driving we saw at least five power poles that were down. I am pretty sure Tybee Island was powerless.

The next day the power was back and our festivities continued :)
I was able to snap a couple of pictures of a light houses for my next painting project.

The overall vacation was relaxing which was much needed and I am sure we will be seeing the ocean next year!

By the way bugs and mosquitos at Tybee were brutal. You would think they would not be around when its scorching hot outside.

Now back to the real world...

To explain the 1st image, a while back I came across a cool post on The Cool Hunter, Amazing Places to Experience Around The Globe (Part 1). Since that I added a few more places to my list of places I wish to visit. Decisions, decisions, decisions I want to go everywhere!
