Savannah Adventures: Part I

The day began at 6:30. Daniil was up and ready to go. "I am hungry, I want a waffle and a lot of syrup, I want to go to a playground, I want to see Savannah!" he kept saying over and over. This was my first time traveling with him by myself {we came with my mom but she was working all day}. After a hearty breakfast and careful packing of my tote bag with all the necessities for a long day, we were finally outside. The weather was gorgeous. We only walked for a couple of minutes when Daniil saw a store vitrine full of cars. A few minutes later, he was a happy owner of a red fire dept. car. During our more than 1 mile walk, his new car touched every bench that we passed by. While he was busy playing, I was taking photos left and right. I don't think I can ever get enough of Savannah's historic architecture!

We were having so much fun that the time and distance did not matter, and luckily we had plenty of time to get to Forsyth park for Daniil's play date with his cousin. I was really excited to see my husband's family.

To be continued ...

I hope everyone is enjoying this spring weather!

Ksenia
