In the studio: iPhone Snippets

What has been going on lately?! A lot of watercolor painting, which is my favorite medium—I am working on gouache right now. A few month back, I got a request from a bride wanting to paint her entire wedding stationery. I am always up for that. So here are few snippets of her wedding illustrations.

I will be sharing photos of the finished product in a few months. I can hardly wait!

Stop And Smell The Roses

Hello, hello!

I can't believe the last time I posted was many months ago. What a slacker I am! The life on this side of the screen has been pretty hectic—I will not waste your time with that :) But I will be sharing some of my exciting projects that I've been working on for the last few months. That would be my next post.

The lesson for today and yes, you already know this one is to not forget to Stop and Smell the Roses!
It's so easy to forget. I did it this weekend and it felt great. Now it's your turn.

In the studio: Happy New Year!

Happy 2014 everyone!!!

I just can't believe that another year has gone by. So many great things has happened in the last 12 months that I am really thankful for.

+ Designing wedding stationery and working with the most wonderful clients
+ Getting published in UPPERCASE magazine. Wow!
+ Having my work featured in branD magazine
+ Having a great year working at Ethic Inc
+ Paying off my car. Woo Hoo!
+ My parents became citizens :)
+ Going out in a boat in Savannah. This can't get any better.
+ Making new family memories
+ Watching my dad's Etsy shop grow
+ Having my work published in FPO
+ Meeting new friends
+ Being inspired by (here just a few, otherwise the list would never end) Tin Can Photography, Brita Photography, Brown Linen, Liddabits, Carly Lawrence, Quill & Fox, Cindy Harter Photography.
+ Paying off our debt
+ My sister in-law is cancer free. YAY!
+ Having two wonderful boys in my life
...  I am sure there are other things that I've left out.

On a sad note, we had to say goodbye to our loving pit bull. We love you Xan and you will always be in our hearts!

As we say goodbye to 2013 and I want to welcome 2014! I am beyond excited to see how adventurous this year will be. With the creative space ready to go,  I can't wait to meet new clients and work on new projects. Let's work together!

What a beautiful day for a wedding celebration! Congratulations to Taylor & Gopal who are tying the knot today!!! I am so glad that they've trusted me with their wedding stationery :) It was such a blast working with them and seeing how well the finished wedding stationery compliments their garden wedding.
